The Chad Groth Foundation

The Chad Groth Foundation is an Arizona based 501c3 non-profit corporation that provides the corporate structure, management and administration for the company’s various non-profit youth-based initiatives.

All of the Foundation’s initiatives have these traits in common:

1. Youth Empowerment: All foundation programs and projects exist to help youth realize their individual nobility and greatness while becoming leaders through academic achievement, healthy living, life skill mastery, and service to the community.

2. Athletics Based: Using athletics as a vehicle, participants learn athletic and health skills, discipline, teamwork, problem solving and leadership.

3. All foundation programs have service components as a part of their activities to help youth form a foundation built on excellence in all things including service to the worldwide community.

The program admits youth ages 8 through 18 of all backgrounds. The Youth All-Stars Program provides urban kids in metropolitan communities across America

an opportunity to become youth All-Stars. All-Stars take part in weekly activities held at local area parks, Boys & Girls Clubs, YMCA’s and local area school facilities. The

All-Stars program gives high achieving urban young people a program that boosts their potential to even higher levels and youth at risk an opportunity to change their

lives. The program will be expanded to serve additional metropolitan areas beginning year two.

For over 20 years, Chad E. Groth has been involved with basketball on all levels as a player in high school, a ball boy for the Minnesota Gophers, and player liaison for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

As Vice-President of Standards and Player Personnel and Chief Scout for the world famous Harlem Globetrotters, Mr. Groth has 14 years of experience working in various additional capacities for the organization: Chief Player Scout, Assistant Coach, Assistant Road Manager, Assistant General Manager of Operations, and as an advisor to team Chairman Mannie Jackson on basketball and entertainment matters.

Mr. Groth is now turning his attention to helping young people achieve their potential using the skills and resources gleaned from his valuable experience with the Harlem Globetrotters.
